How You Can Help

The Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) has developed a program designed to target the neediest families in America's inner cities and provide them with expanded services on a weekly basis.

For a donation of $10.00 per month, CHF is able to largely cover the cost to feed a family of four. This brings great value for your donated dollar and directly impacts a family in difficult times.

Recognizing that the most effective approach to meeting the needs of hungry children is to target the entire family, CHF developed the Family Sponsor Program. This program enables CHF to provide the following services:

1. CHF provides food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and household goods to low-income and homeless families on a weekly basis.
2. CHF endeavors to find job training and placement opportunities for adults and teen-aged youth in need of work experience.
3. CHF provides food parcels and toys on special holidays and other resources throughout the year to improve the quality of life for children who have so little. More than 3,600 families participate in this program each week.

USANA Health Sciences and Children's Hunger Fund have joined forces to help provide basic nutrition and nourishment to less-fortunate children around the world.

Children's Hunger Fund is a nonprofit children's organization that works to alleviate the suffering of children. Whether it be hunger, malnutrition, poor medical care, abandonment, or abuse, Children's Hunger Fund strives to better the quality of life for children in need.

Children need advanced levels of nutrients to help their bodies grow because poor nutrition can lead to problems such as degenerative diseases later in life. By contributing to Children's Hunger Fund you are laying a foundation for good health. You can help further Dr. Wentz' vision of true health by supporting this worthy cause. Each gift is significant to the Children's Hunger Fund mission, and through USANA you can help make a difference.

You can donate in the following ways:

• Sponsor a Family. Add $10 to your Autoship order as Item #899, to help supply basic nutrition for an entire family suffering from malnourishment and hunger.
• Purchase Items at Convention. You will see a CHF sticker on many items available for purchase within the USANA Store at Convention. Whenever you buy one of these items, a portion of the proceeds will go to Children's Hunger Fund.
• Cash Donation. Call Order Express at 1-888-950-9595, and add Item #899 to any single order in any amount.
• Order Flowers. Children's Hunger Fund will receive 20% of the purchase price of any flower order purchased through FlowerFunds. Call 1-800-SEND-123 and give them USANA's code number of 8412USANA.
• Organize a Fundraiser in Your Community. Put together a volunteer group in your area to raise money for children in need. Host a bake sale or garage sale, organize a telethon, or sponsor a walk/run or car wash, and donate the proceeds to Children's Hunger Fund. The possibilities are endless, and the children will thank you.
• Purchase Gift Certificates. With the USANA Gift Certificate Program, you can purchase product for Children's Hunger Fund and earn Personal Volume Points (PVP) at the same time. Order Item #899 and receive 10 PVP. The gift certificate will go directly to Children's Hunger Fund to be used toward select USANA products. Associates may order Children's Hunger Fund gift certificates for up to 50% of their PVP.
